Wedding at the United Methodist Church in Hollywood, CA and reception at the Roosevelt Hotel

A grand old church built in 1929 with beautiful limestone blocks, its just gorgeous. You might recall this church from several movies its been featured in, such as Jennifer Lopez's , 'The Wedding Planner'. The Roosevelt Hotel is yet another stellar location for a reception. The Roosevelt Hotel was the location for the first several Academy Award ceremony's and in fact Jessica and David's reception was in the same ball room as the academy awards.

It was a rainy day with some deluges, but we kept our spirits high and used the weather to our advantage. The sky with a blanket of clouds gave us a nice soft light to work with.

Heather got ready in the Ritz Carlton in Pasadena, California. To honor Heather's heritage the ceremony was a traditional Greek ceremony at Saint Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena. The reception took place at Villa Del Sol D' Oro which is an Italian Villa replica in Sierra Madre, just North of Pasadena.
